This photo has been photo shopped to look darker and more mysterious, I feel the effect has worked, it gives a very autumn look due tot the colours being changed to deeper reds and oranges. The textures of the clouds are also an interesting part of the photograph. In some aspects this photo looks almost cartoon like. The effects do give an effective and appropriate feel.

This panoramic shot I feel is quite interesting. The view has power cables running form one end to the other which I feel gives a sense of the modern world ruining landscapes, especially for photographers. You can see roofs of houses and some tree top which are very dark due to the sun being more in front rather than behind. This effect is very interesting and I have been experimenting with it in the past. This is most likely due to myself taking photographs at sunsets.

Clouds

This photo was taken in the autumn. The landscape view, I feel has been taken at a very good time as the cloud formation would have moved if left any longer. You can tell this is very late autumn as there are practically no leaves left on the tree which is a giving a silhouette like feel. The one thing spoiling the photo once again is the telephone lines, I will have to avoid these in the future.

I find this photo to be very calming, it was taken in the spring and the water is perfectly still creating a brilliant reflection of the sky, this creates a clam feeling and is a pleasing site. The background fits the photo very well. It is an emblem of spring.

Cliff Top

This photo is quite interesting; the cliff tops in Spain have some stunning views such as this one. You can see the sea behind and the patchiness from the clouds shining down on the cliff gives a different effect. This shows summer very well, the very rustic desert look of Spain is easily portrayed.

Snow

Here you can see in detail that snow falls on every surface clinging to it and possibly destroying it. This is a photo that doesn’t contain a landscape scene. Weather close up can be quite effective, I hope to the same with rain. You can see the small flakes of snow which have just settled upon this leaf. I may soon start using close up pictures more often, it is a good way to portrait some seasons.

Snow

Here you can see for miles the snow which surrounds the buildings. It has gracefully fallen onto cars rooftops. You can see the reason for why people find it hard to go anywhere in these cold conditions. Snow can be a devastating effect, a very short lasting, yet devastating effect. The photo shows how many miles snow can cover. The landscape is also quite tasteful in this photo with the clouds just in the right places to form an interesting effect behind the tree. You can also see a frozen bird bath at the bottom showing snowy weather brings harm to nature.

Orange tree

This photograph symbolises a turn to the autumn season, the tree is yellow and the leaves are falling, Behind there is a gap of light in the clouds. The scenery around the tree is not much to look at all. However you can see fallen leaves on the floor.
I feel that this is quite a formal photograph, nothing has been added yet it is pleasant to look at.

Sunset

This was taken in the summer; the setting sun creates a silhouette like effect on the objects in front of it. There is a focus point, brighter yellow part at the top of the sunset. The clouds create quite a moving scene. They are in the correct place for the sunset to stand out more. The hilly background also creates a scene which may be recognised as being European. I find mixing scenes of weather with landscape to be very interesting and will try and do this more often. The vapour trails of the planes also give a pleasant effect in the sky.

FOG

As you can see this image is of a tree turning an orange colour due to the change in season with a backdrop of fog. Normally in this photo you would be able to see many buildings towards the town in the background but the fog has covered it up completely. I like the colour of the tree it symbolises a turn to autumn, I will be continuing this trend in my photos when the seasons change.

Lightning

I noticed a thunderstorm going on outside and wanted to take advantage of the situation. I did not have the appropriate equipment to photo lightning so decided to video it. I checked the video to see that I had caught lightning on tape. I then uploaded this and took a print screen at the time the lightning struck and then turned it greyscale. The photo isn’t of high quality but it’s still good for a rookie photographer taking photos of lightning. The photo shows what powers the earth possesses and that lightning can easily destroy someone’s home.

This photo gives a great contrast in lights and darks. The lighter part is in the middle which makes it more appealing and generally nicer to look at. The trees and houses in the slight background give a silhouette feel. The photo is obviously photoshoped as I changed brightness, contrasts and turned the photo to greyscale. I feel that when shooting clouds it is often easy to make patterns and even pictures from what you can see providing you have a very active imagination. I feel there are no limits when taking photos of clouds.

Setting Sun

This photo is of a sunset only out my front window. I find many great photo opportunities arise outside my very window. The scenery is always pleasant to look at but the downside is the phone cables often cross my path when the sight is most photogenic. The mixtures of colours that can be found in the sky illuminated by the setting sun can be most delightful and elaborate to look at. Also I can often see many different textures of clouds in this photo. Despite the spoilt view due to phone cables I think it is an alright photo.
